Musik der Gegenwart

Eckhard Weber

„I'm interested in perceptual principles such as tension and resolution, terms derive from the tonality“, says composer Eres Holz, who tirelessly explores a new harmony far from traditional rules. As a passionate singer, he likes Monteverdi and Gesualdo and apply thoughtful compositional techniques into new constellations - with amazing instrumental sound results. Eres Holz lives and works in Berlin and is a Lecturer in algorithmic composition at the Academy of Music Hanns Eisler Berlin and jury member of the INM (Initiative neue Musik Berlin e.V.).
